why on earth would you show interest on a guy who does not seems to show it to you. well if you work in the same office with him, he could have noticed you a long time ago, unless he just started work 3 days ago, you are not making any points here, the guy may not be interested. in my experience, if a guy never never look at me twice, i never bother about him as well, i will also pretend not to know him, wether in town or at work, he may be looking for only the smartest girl and overlook you. sorry to be a pain but wait until he comes to you himself. other wise if he sees that you like him, he may hire some girl from no where and pretend to be a GF, to make you back off. let the feelings flow itself away from that boy.

Approach him at lunchtime. Sit at the same table as he does. Take it up from there. But don't make him too nervous. And don't hound him. You'll only end up making a laughing stock of yourself.

first you need to find out if you're allowed to date a co-worker. some offices do not allow it. secondly, what if the relationship doesnt work out, then you have to face him every day. i generally don't recommend dating someone you work with. but if you do want to go out with him , yes it would be easier to talk to him outside the office.

Your right and its usually down to alcohol.

People are more relaxed once they are out having fun and are more likely to talk to the person they fancy more freely without worrying about other people.

I would think so as the atmosphere would be more relaxed plus everyone will be too busy or drunk to notice you two talking. Easy Ice breaker.
