may be dilated cardiomyopathy, treatable with frusemide (diuretic to avert develop of fluid contained in the lungs). Are his nostrils flaring as he breathes? which could be an illustration that he's having heart-proper complications. that is that he's not ingesting because he's having difficulty respiratory. you should ask for a second opinion. yet...it may also be that he's not ingesting yet after a dental as his mouth may be uncomfortable as he might want to have had buccal separators in his mouth (to save the cheek pads out of how so the vet can get to the decrease back teeth). If he's not ingesting you'll favor to syringe feed him as guinea pigs can flow into irreversible liver failure after 16 hours without nutrients, yet you may want to favor to be very careful that he doesn't breathe something in. Ask the vet if he checked your piggy's lungs because you're anxious about dilated cardiomyopathy.
