I don't have that feeling that a god exists. Did anyone have a sudden moment when you knew there was a god?

There was this one time, I went to this youth thing when I was 14 or 15, and I came out of the three-day event higher than a kite. I don't think I came down for 2 weeks. It was some experience. (when I got into drugs later, and had something to compare with, this was a much better high than drugs.)

Later, when I was 30 or so, there was a crisis, and the people I despised before became best friends, and I found that I could heal people. I could summon angels and have them do my bidding. I also found that the spirit of dinosaurs still roam around the world. This place in ancient beyond belief. It is mind-boggling.

Then I thought I had just gone temporarily crazy. I still don't think I'm quite sane yet.

Do you suppose that you are ready for the story about the time that Jesus..well, maybe not. He's a funny guy, that Jesus..

You can see God all around you. Just look at creation, how the seasons change for example. God is in full control. Man likes to think he is in control, HA! LOL! God will draw you nigh to himself if he chooses. He knew you before the foundation of the world. Where do you think you came from? If you ever have a chance to hit bottom in life and there is no other way to look but up, you may finally realize his existence. He is available to all people if you will only seek him and learn to praise and worship him.

I was raised Catholic...bored and disappointed in their disgraceful cover up of the rapist priests. I turned away from the church for many years. I was agnostic. Last year, I had a major life changing situation. I was very depressed and unhappy. I was on medication for depression, but felt so hopeless. I didn't know what else to do but pray. I began to feel better. My daughter found a local church and we started going. Soon, my husband joined us. My life is not a bowl of cherries, but with God back in my life, I know there is hope.

After following and researching many religions and coming up empty, I came to Christianity. My best friend shared Jesus with me for about a year before I realized what she was saying may have some truth to it. I delved further in my research and invited the Lord into my heart and soul and the rest they say is history :-)

Great question btw :-)

I was raised to believe in the existence of God and Jesus but I didn't come to know Him as a personal savior until I was 30.It was a long process.

I am roman catholic and I remember having a dream of Jesus saying something to me while i was in bed,His lips were moving but no words came out. Then while walking down my alley one day, someone tried to do a drive by shooting at me,lucky for me,the machine gun they were using only fired a single shot.Guess where that bullet hit?Right on the crucifix i was wearing,It was made out of cold hard steel and the bullet was lodged right in it.

For me, it was that I really needed to have this question settled.

That question was "God, are you real?"

His answer...mustard seed. The verse in the Bible that says if you have the faith of a mustard seed.

I gave up in trying to force God to fit into my image and make him prove himself to me. I stopped trying to make God become the magical genie who would appear to me.

When I told God, I would agree to believe in Him, he started to answer my prayers. Because I started to treat him with the respect he was due and to listen to what he said.

He's answered way too many of my prayers not to be real. On almost a daily basis.

I grew up in a Roman Catholic family. We went to church every Sunday and I attended youth group every wednesday. Growing up I never doubted my faith becuase I never saw my parents doubt it. It wasn't until I was in the Army that I began questioning faith. During the darkest days being stationed overseas I found my religion, my God was there. It was only when I closed myself off to God did I not see him. In my ignorance I thought he wasn't there a lot of the time. What I learned was that he was there, I just chose not to see it. Twice I had profound experiences. One was when I was in basic training, I felt so close to God. Another was after I had found a friend who had committed suicide. I felt God take him then.

I saw God and Santa Claus at the mall, and I was only four. From that day on I had a firm faith for many years.
