I am Christian.
I believe and practice the Christian faith because what I have read and heard resonates in my Spirit.
There are times when I hear other Christians speak things that rest sourly with my Spirit. In those times I research what they speak for myself and seek a place of comfort in my own understanding based on my research.
My true faith comes not from an book or a preacher but from my personal experiences with Jesus/Spirit/God.
I would share some of the stories of my and God/Jesus/Spirit interactions and encourage then to seek connecting with God directly and follow God leading for them even if it does not match my own.
I know I was made to connect with God is specific ways and others even within the Christian faith connect with God differently so I can not judge other religions as invalid.
Judism (for those who are descendants of Abraham) is as valid as Christianity for Gentiles.
I suspect that Islam may be God's way of reaching out to those ousted by the Israelites and or Jews of today from The Holy Land.
Other than the person of Christ many native belief systems follow a moral code that matches Judism and Christianity. This would include Budhism for the Orient natives.

I would share my beliefs with them, but in a way that shows humility, that makes it obvious that I don't have all the answers.
I agree with Jared; all the major religions you mentioned are worthwhile. Like all people, I am drawn to certain religions more than others, but studying Judaism, Islam, and other religions has allowed me to see the beauty contained in the beliefs and practices of those faiths.
I would share with them that a Christianity based on the simple teaching of loving God and loving others works best for me. Perhaps it would work best for them too (perhaps not)
great question...peace

If someone asked me, yes I would tell them what I believe and why. And Yes I can back it up and yes I have studied other religions in depth, to be sure what I believe fits the religion I chose.

Yes I would. I have a book titled "The Man in Search of God". This book explains all religions, what they believe, etc.

Tell them they don't have to pick any one religion, because there is no right one. Tell him there's a lot to be learned in all of them. But there is only one God, you know, cuz there can be only one!

I would encourage them to leave their religion and show them that their faith is false. Religion is false.
