why not make the biscuits, get some ' icing pens ' let the buying child ice their name on, then come back for their 'wares' at close of sale, then everyone see's them.

This won't impress the governors much, but the kids will love them!!! Oh and it's really easy to make and the kids can help you....
200g Clover (I've tried other spreads and this is the best one)
200g or 1 packet WHITE marshmallows
250g Chopped Mars bars
200g Rice krispies (or whatever you think)
On a low heat:
1. Melt butter
2. Melt marshmallow until melted in (looks funny because the marshmallows don't quite mix)
3. Add the mars and melt until there are no lumps.
4. Finally adding rice krispies-to your liking.
You need to put into a non-stick shallow tray (not metal) and making segments while still warm as it will be a little hard when it cools....
My teacher taught me this eeeeeerm 25years ago at primary school.....and it's much much better than those squares you buy in the shops!!!
Hope you like?!?;o]
Good luck at the fair and raise loads of cash for the school! X

Caketastic
Try to get really colorful cakes iced in reds, greens, chocolate, yellows. Have a raffle and give away some cakes for prizes also try to talk the school into havin a cake walk - there are a certain amount of chairs and every time the music plays a chair is taken away and someone has to leave the circle - last person in a chair gets cake
Try to get some: Angel Food, Devils Food, Carrot, Cheese and Red Velvet cakes - people love those.
See if you can talk the bakers into putting safe tokens in the cakes for prizes or good luck. We have King Cakes here and the have a "Baby" in them for good luck.

Heres one i did a few years ago. Make a real life fruit machine. on a table top build a slot machine front, with 3 holes covered in fabric which allows a hand to go through. and a pull lever Behind the table have 3 people with an assortment of the same fruit and have a ball making slot machine noises as a child puts coin in to operate it. as the 'spin' comes to an end, the 3 hands poke through the holes holding a fruit, at random, devise a payout table etc for wins, obviously 'wins' have to be made but can be the fruit on the win line . use your imagination to adapt as needed. Dont do what we did tho and eat the fruit, one, youll be sick and two youll run out of combinations. Any money collected can be donated to the school. See if you can get the fruit stalls at the local markets and supermarkets to donate fresh fruit. Hope you have a good time, the kids will love it.

I would bake Ice Cream Cone cakes. Basically - get a muffin tin and place a flat-bottomed ice cream cone in each muffin cup. No fill about half full with cake batter (can be boxed cake mix) and bake for approximately 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. When they come out - pipe white frosting on the top and add sprinkles. They will look like very pretty ice cream cones!
