No 1 invented Aids....nature evolved it through primates. We r just lucky that scientists discovered it and that they r working in a cure.

You'll find some recent article in the later magazines of "National Geographic" about the area AIDS was found in. It started with, I should say, about the early sixties, with the Cuban troops sent into Africa to suppress the uprisings. It was political to start with. It's a guess they brought it back with them to the Caribbean. It moved up the East coast of the United States in the 60's and then crossed the U.S. to the West coast before they really knew what it was and could contain it. I still remember the problems it unveiled when they tried to stop foreign immigrants with ear rings in their left ear (men) from entering the U.S. claiming they were Gay and probably carried AIDS, of course it was stopped.
The African Natives ate the brains of certain monkeys that harbored the disease, somehow the disease crossed the barrier to humans. The Cuban troops haveing sexual contact with the Natives and cortracted the disease from them, bringing it home with them. It did start the spread in the Caribbean and moved throughout the area then, moved in Florida and up the U.S, East Coast.
Most of this has been speculation, but that's all they have to go on for now. Investigations and theories will go on forever.

There was a documentary that appeared on either PBS or the Discovery Channel that documented some time ago, some scientists were trying to do mass vaccinations (I think it was polio) for tribes in Africa. There were only small amounts of vaccination made in a concentrated form. The vaccination was then sent out to different regions in order to vaccinate different tribes. The vaccination was multiplied using PRIMATE blood, which didn't go through any screening process. So hundreds of tribes were then injected with this vaccine, with neither the scientists nor the tribes knowing that the primates already carried a virus that was fatal to the human body.
The scientists were questioned about the vaccination, but none of them would ever speak on the issue

Aids was an interspecies crossover disease, originating with animal species, most likely a breed of monkeys.
What type of virus is HIV?
HIV is a lentivirus, and like all viruses of this type, it attacks the immune system. Lentiviruses are in turn part of a larger group of viruses known as retroviruses. The name 'lentivirus' literally means 'slow virus' because they take such a long time to produce any adverse effects in the body. They have been found in a number of different animals, including cats, sheep, horses and cattle. However, the most interesting lentivirus in terms of the investigation into the origins of HIV is the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) that affects monkeys.
How could HIV have crossed species?
It has been known for a long time that certain viruses can pass between species. Indeed, the very fact that chimpanzees obtained SIV from two other species of ape shows just how easily this crossover can occur. As animals ourselves, we are just as susceptible. When a viral transfer between animals and humans takes place, it is known as zoonosis.
So did it definitely come from Africa?
Given the evidence we have already looked at, it seems highly likely that Africa was indeed the continent where the transfer of HIV to humans first occurred (monkeys from Asia and South America have never been found to have SIVs that could cause HIV in humans).

Two species of HIV infect humans: HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 is thought to have originated in southern Cameroon after jumping from wild chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes troglodytes) to humans during the twentieth century. HIV-2 may have originated from the Sooty Mangabey (Cercocebus atys), an Old World monkey of Guinea-Bissau, Gabon, and Cameroon. HIV-1 is the most virulent. It is easily transmitted and is the cause of the majority of HIV infections globally. HIV-2 is less transmittable and is largely confined to West Africa.
That's my best Answer!

hiv and aids developed due to primates (monkeys etc) having a virus within them, that wasnt deadly to them, just as humans carry some viruses that are not deadly,,,,, then this virus was passed from the primates to humans, and it is serious for humans,,,,, there are various theories on how this happened,,, i personally imagine it was a worker(with the primates) who contacted it,,,,
