My friend recently went down to the doctors because his mouth was infected and blistered up and stuff, he thought he may have had an alergic reaction to food, but his doctor told him that it was a form of diabetes ? Never heard of such a thing does anyone else have that ? They said they were going to do blood work but i was just curious if its known to be diabetes and could he be a diabetic ?

No its not a form of diabetes. What could be happening tho is that your friend has had diabetes with out knowing it and since diabetices take longer to heal it could be that he has an infection in his mouth but it is worse because of his diabetes. You might want to tell your friend to go see another doctor. I am curious did you go with your friend to the doctor? or did you hear the doctor tell your friend that he had diabetes or did your friend go alone? If he or she went alone they might have something else and are to imbarrased to tell you and that was the first thing that popped into their head as being the cause. What which ever I hope your friend gets the help they need and will get better soon.

Anyone can be a diabetic. There are hundreds of symptoms of diabetes. I was shocked when I found out I am diabetic but the only thing I can do is try to live with it and watch my diet.
