I plan our company party every year. We have about 150 guests, and I've found the best way to get audience participation is through your entertainment. We've engaged the audience with strolling magicians, joan rivers look-alikes, and have found that a dueling piano show is a real crowd pleaser.

Rent a karaoke machine. Divide everyone into teams according to their department or units. Get everyone to participate by creating an incentive. For example the winning team can get an extra perk like an extended break period or lunch at a later date on the company's expense. Choose the winning team according to best singers or most colorful performances. Whatever you decide to do I hope your party is a blast and a good time for all. Enjoy!

Our sorority had a Gourmet dinner and at the dinner we had a little fun.All that were invited were ask to bring a Christmas ornament. We stood in a circle and were told to pass our ornament, a made up story was told and in the story when it had the word right, we passed right, left-then left. The story was so fun--you get to see the other ornaments and when you like one it may be yours in the end.You can use other themes as the gift to be passed around.(I've used coffee mugs, boxes of chocolates, and Valentines)Just set a price limit and have fun....

If I was to have a company party it won't be too wild, but it also won't be too conservative. With this in mind you can think of things that you think many people enjoys doing or talking about. Just remember..just becuase it's a company party, it doens't have to be boring and too serious...HavE fUn!

Have it at a place w/activities, such as bowling or an arcade (I'm thinking a Dave n Buster's not chuck E Cheese) or roller/ice rink. Or have karaoke or rent a juke box if it's in a bland environment.
