I am trying to decide what to eat for thanksgiving

Tamales are great, but sopes can be made in more flavors.
I like variety - Sopes!
Or give me a big pile of lechon asado and I'll be smilin' a lot.

i would say tamales. once i took tamales to a thanksgiving and the only one (of about 20 people) eating tamales was me so...yeah!! tamales for the ones who know. why? because some people do not eat/do not like turkey and some others just prefer something else...i'm also having Spanish Omelette!!

Since I have no idea what sopes are, I'll say tamales, b/c I know I like them a lot!

If the tamales are made the "RIGHT" way (and we've all had bad tamales!), then I'd go with them....
Of course, if you had BOTH sopes and tamales, that truly would be a DEEE LISH USSSS thanksgiving!

I like tamales personally. Depends if you're making them and which are the most work and how much time you want to spend cooking. Which can be made ahead so you can spend time with family. Just a few things to concider.

Both are yummy! Just like asking which is better tacos or burritos just depends what your in the mood for. But tamales make me feel like a fat turd.
