Alright I went to the doctor because I haven't had a normal period since June. Well they found out that my cholesterol is really low and that my insulin is very high. I don't know what this really means. Not very educated in medical part

Hyperthryoidism will cause low cholesterol. The high insulin may not be related, it might be that you are a type 2 diabetic, or perhaps you have an insulinoma. This is an insulin secreting tumor of the pancreas. Get checked.

A proper diet eating foods containing low cholesterol. Low cholesterol is a good thing.
Read the labels on your food and buy the ones that contain the smallest amount of cholesterol, do compare shopping.

Oat bran reduces it. Most foods are ok. Monounsaturated oils lessen it too.

It's years since I read up on it. Olive oil is great so is uncooked rapeseed oil.
