just go to walmart and ask the pharmacist for a copy of the list, they have a lot of the most common generics on the list, you just have to remember that the 4.00 charge is for a "normal" 30 day supply and if your prescribed amount is more than what they consider "normal" then you will pay a little more

IF YOU GO TO WALMART.COM, CLICK ON PHARMACY, YOU CAN BE DIRECTED TO THE $4.00 PRESCRIPTION PLAN.
THERE, YOU WILL FIND A LIST OF 26 DIFFERENT CONDITIONS THAT HAVE MEDICATIONS ON THE PLAN. INCLUDED ARE ONLY 5 DIFFERENT DIABETES MEDICATIONS INCLUDING CHLORPROPAMIDE, GLIMEPIRIDE, GLIPIZIDE, GLYBURIDE AND METFORMIN.

RECENTLY, WHILE REFILLING PRESCRIPTIONS AT TARGET, I LEARNED THAT THEY TOO WILL MATCH THE $4.00 PRICE FROM WALMART WITHOUT THE HASSEL OF GOING TO WALMART. I AM SURE THAT OTHER PHARMACYS ARE ALSO HONORING THE PRICE.

THE OTHER THING IS LIVING IN THE RIGHT STATE. THERE ARE NUMBER OF STATES THAT ARE NOT ON THE LIST YET FOR SOME REASON.

Simply call your Wal-Mart pharmacist, go on the Wal-Mart pharmacy web site and you can get the new four dollar scripts. But you have to make sure that you are in one of the states that offer this discount program. Not all Wal-Marts have hopped on board this wonderful program.
I hope you find your answer.
Actually if you do, can you email me with the information. I can pass it on to my patients once Virginia gets on the bandwagon.
Best regards,
Warren Shaffer, M.D.
