Blood glucose is measured in 2 different units, mmol/L and mg/dl. A reading taken in one unit will be very different if converted to the other. What was yours measured in?
The reading also differs greatly if it was taken before or after a mean. When was your reading taken?

Blood glucose is considered high if
- it is more than 8mmol/L or 145mg/dL if the reading was taken before a meal
or
- it is more than 10mmol/L or 180mg/dL if the reading was taken 2 hours after a meal

If your reading was in mg/dL...then it is actually very low. And if it is in mmol/dL that would be exceptionally high and you would be very sick by now. I suggest you get better clarification from the dr who took the blood glucose test for you.

What that shows is that your body has a lot of insulin in the blood. And of course insulin is the natural hormone in out bodies that help to regulate level of sugar in the blood.
A higher that normal value can mean a range of things including:
1. Type 2 diabetes - Insulin resistance (Most likely)
2. Insulinoma - An insulinoma is a tumor in the pancreas that produces too much
3. Sulfonylurea-induced hypoglycemia
4. Injection of an excessive amount of insulin
5. Obesity
6. Acromegaly
7. Cushing's syndrome
8. Fructose or galactose intolerance

Hey, why don't you ASK YOUR DOCTOR. That's what you pay him/her for.
