IMHO Vegetable protein tastes better and is cruelty free. You cannot get salmonella from vegetable protein or BSE . It takes less time to cook with it and it is easier all round!

Cholesterol only comes from animals. There *is* cholesterol in the cell membranes of plants. This cholesterol might be ingested by humans but we'll have to wait and see. Your body makes it.

Animal protein comes from animals, and vegetable protein comes from vegetables. Protein is protein, they are all made of amino acids. There is 11 essential amino acids which the body can not make and we need to ingest. These 11 amino acids can be supplied from ingesting animal flesh, animal by-products (dairy and eggs), and vegetables/plants. Since animals eat these 11 amino acids they are incorportated into their flesh/body, and when eaten you get all of them at once. Vegetables/plants contain these amino acids in different amounts, and that is why a vegetarian/vegan need to eat a varied diet (just like the animals that ate the plants first) to get adequate amount of these 11 amino acids. That is why vegetarians need to combine legumes with grains (beans with rice), or grains with certain vegetables (stirfry with rice), or even just nuts and spirulina.

Unlike animal proteins, plant proteins may not contain all the essential amino acids in the necessary proportions. This is why most vegans consume a varied diet. The amino acids in one protein compensate for the deficiencies of another. Plant proteins are much lower in fat than animal proteins. HOWEVER, high-protein diets increase aging rates. A minimal-protein, high fruit & vegetable diet will help you achieve the best level of health.

I believe animal protein is more complete. Just let me say to everyone else i dont care if you think it is cruel to eat animals or not. i have seen dying people so seeing a dying animal doesnt affect me any.

Cholesterol only comes from animals. Therefore, veggie protein contains none. Food for thought, eh?
