oh yes it can. so if you have them on your mouth and you go down on a guy then he can get them down there. and if he has them down there and you go down on him you can get them on your mouth. it is very contagious.

Yes, yes, yes! Doctors are now not differentiating between Type I and Type II; it is the same virus, just a different location. Herpes is herpes is herpes; orally or genitally, and either can be passed to different locations on the body.

Example: YOU have 'cold sore', give b/f oral sex......he now pops up with blisters on his penis/genital area: he now has genital herpes.

Cold sore are herpes so if you have one and it is active and you kiss someone or share eating or drinking utinsels you will pass the virus on to the other person. It is very contagious when the cold sore is active so please be careful and remember to wash your hands well if you have them near your lips when you have a cold sore.

a cold sore can transmit type 1 to the vaginal area. giving you less intense outbreaks but you still have type one. type 2 comes from type 2 virus, you can spread that to the mouth area giving you type 2 of the mouth. confused?
