a good portion of the population has a form of HPV. Sometimes it causes visible warts on the genitalia. there are many different strains of the virus as well... not all strains cause cancer. I myself know 2 people who admitt to having it... and I probably know more that have it and don't admit to it, and pleanty more who have it and don't know it. They did come out with a vaccine, Im not sure of the particulars, but Im going to look into it myself.

I have one friend that I know for sure has it. They say it is very common, and it can cause cervical cancer. I think they just came out with a vacine, but you have to be 16 or under to get it.
