Chronic sinusitis, and acute sinusitis when I have even minor colds.

Cost is important as well. One way around the rebound effect is to take very increasing doses (then lay off entirely). The idea is to be functional to earn money without sneezing.

Can't let wheezing, unable to breathe stop me.

See your doctor for a prescription for Flonase or Nasonex. They are not addictive/no rebounding and you use them every day and you won't get the "bunged-up" nose. They ca give you a few samples, I'm sure. That will save you a bunch.

You might want to see an ear, nose and throat doctor and get your sinuses cleared out. Minor surgery. But they can clean all the crapp out and then you won't need anything but saline spray in the dry winter months. I did it. Best thing I ever did.

I bought the Vicks Spraymist today. Cost 3.14 from local chemist but it lasts for ages. I swear by it. It is much better than the vicks synex spray. Soon will clear out a bunged nose.

I have tried it on Sarah only so far. It worked, got all the "junk" out. She didn't like it very well. I don't blame her, I freak when I get water in my nose too lol. But I had to use it more then once for the same runny nose. But it kept it clear for awhile in between.

I've just tried the Vicks First Defense - it's really good.... But the best thing really for bunged up noses, is steam with a bit of eucalyptus oil if you have it, or olbas oil would do the trick... Olbas oil is magic for when you're working....

good luck!!

I use Steremar spray for my nose. It's salt water and works! Honest. It may not sound pleasant but it's worth a try. You can get it from all chemists.

sudofed spray is brilliant, also taking an antihistamine dries all the yucky mucus up so you can breath easier.
