Kennel Cough needs anti biotics to help this dog and no they do not get immune to it. Vaccinations only give protection against a disease and is not a 100% guarantee of the animal being free from the disease.

I cannot understand why you have let this dog go more than 3 months with this respiratory disease. Untreated the dog's lungs will be severely weakened and in certain cases death can occur!

Only if it doesn't kill the dog first.

If your dog has kennel cough you need to take it to a vet. Don't sit it out. It's downright cruel and could cause serious internal damamge, if not death. Oh yeah and it's contaigous.

Need to take it to the vet for some medicine. They do not get immune to it. It`s also contagious to other animals.
