This has worked for me for years! If I feel it coming on I make myself a nice plate of pasta with tomato sauce, make sure the sauce has extra garlic and onions! The pasta provides carbs for extra energy, the tomato sauce has oodles of vitamin c and the garlic and onions have antibacterial and antiviral qualities...

works like a charm!

Lots of fluids (especially OJ), a vaporizer, maybe a saline rinse. If it does develop into an infection, you'll need an antibiotic, but if it's a cold, most of the other suggestions have some valid remedies. Good luck!

rince your nose with mild salty water.. go to bathroom and slightly snort up your nostals with cupped handfulls of water.. (not enough to get the head rush) and then gently blow out all the gunk.. do this a few times..
then make a natural antibiotic drink. which I call "cluck".. its 2 bright red fresh tomatoes, 2 garlic cloves, juice of half a lemon, dash of cayenne pepper and dash of salt.. blend up in blender and swig real fast (it will taste like raw V8 juice) but drink this mess everyday for about 3 days and you'll open up real fast, and it will cure any thing. (well not anything, but most head colds)

You have to correct (FESS) structural deformities to avoid future infections.

Steam inhalation is not recommended because it may damage your cilia.

go to a doctor and get a prescription, if you cant afford this take a steamy shower, or lay on your back and put a hot towel on your forehead, keeping your head slightly elevated
