not usually. std is sexually transmitted disease. unless it something like herpes which u can get thru an open wound or sore someone else had but it has to go from them to u thru some type of opening, if that makes sense. like if u kiss someone that has a herpes sore thats open, the infection can get into ur mouth. but like they said, u can get diseases thru drug use too

Yes. Most STD's are sexually transmitted, but virgins can contract STD's.
1. Herpes--if a partner has a cold sore on their mouth and performs oral sex on their partner there is a high liklihood that their partner could contract genital herpes even though they have never had intercourse. If a partner has an oral cols sore that partner should not let their cold sore touch their partner's skin especially on the mouth/oral/lips, genitals and eyes.
2. Infections such as HIV and Hepatitis that can be transmitted via blood to blood contact does not require sex to contract it.
3. Parasitic infections--such as scabies and pubic lice can be contracted from a fabric chair, sheets, and casual contact such as sex play with someone that has them. But, scabies and lice need a "host" to live so they can not live on an inatimate object very long, so this is not as big of a concern.

Yes you can get certain STD such as tricamonous (evil itch) from public restrooms. Perfectly curable with mild discomfort such as a horrible itch. You can get herpes from touch the genitalia which has an out break and transmit it to yourself. (no cure of this) HIV - yes by coming in contact with body fluids of a person who is infected or needles of a person who is infected. The list can go on. Most STD's are typically spread through sex. However, coming in contact with a persons body fluids or effected area you CAN POSSIBLY pick up the STD. There is always a possibility just not probable.

Get a clean usual practitioner. He needed to describe added whether he thought you have been mendacity. that's extraordinarily much impossible to get maximum STD's without sexual touch (OF ANY form). in line with threat if he clarified the motives you will possibly have remembered something risky you will executed, or something you have have been given come into touch. there are quite some places prepared to tutor on STD's the two professional-decision and professional-existence so p.c.. whichever you're greater delicate with and pass.

Yep. Some STDs are passed from mother to child, and some you can get through blood transfusions, bodily fluids, or sharing needles (like AIDS)

YES.

If you have a skin contact with a person's infected skin area and such contact is on an open sore or lesion of your skin or mouth.

Depends...as long as you are exposed to their body fluids (urine, feces, blood, open sores, etc) you have the possiblity of picking it up. also...for the nice creepy crawly STI (scabbies, crabs, etc) you can get them from clothing, towels, toilet seats etc. Also, wet kissing can pass on herpes and other STIs if there are open sores...
