Goal LDL is <160 if you aren't on any medication or have any other disease states or risk factors. Goal triglycerides is <150. To increase HDL exercise. To decrease LDL exercise, eat a healthy diet, limit fatty foods. To decrease Triglycerides eat a healthy diet and exercise. Increasing fiber can help with lowering LDL a little, along with OTC fish oils. talk with your doctor, see if you need to be doing any lifestyle modifications.

lipids are fats and are components of cholesterol. There are high density lipids, and those are good, the higher the better, and then there are the low density lipids which are not good, the lower the better. So just looking at lipids isn't telling you much, you need to have a breakdown of which lipids are high and which are low.
