From my experience they are tasty, not heavy in stomach. I like to cook in this way: For around 1 kg of frog legs take 3 eggs add flower and mix together( some use only eggs). Thickness of mix depends on you like person, more or less flower. Is better if the flower is add slowly during mixing so doesn't make crumbs. Add in the mix salt, crush chili,- if you like it hot. Deep the frog legs in the mix and straight in a fryer with hot vegetable oil. You understand they are ready from the golden brawn color o try if the meat come out of the bone easy. After they are ready take it out of pan fryer ,in the plate and squeeze lemon on top.Or 1 min. before taking out add a little white wine in the pan fryer.More lemon better taste. Some feta ,cold beer, garlic can add taste ,but that depends on persons. And for the chicken-like taste is kind of true only if frogs have been raise in frog -farms.If they have been in the wild you will enjoy a new tasting experience. Cheers....

From where I came from it is a delicacy and in fact it is more healthy than chicken. One thing is frogs dont have much layer of fat and second there is no commercial frog feed as chicken has chemically enriched fodder. In general frogs eats insects which is high in protien so it is just common sense that it has more protein than chickens if they were the same size as frogs... Actually it taste a little bit like chicken not like chicken.... Snakes also taste a little bit like chicken if you want to eat some...

Tried them once in university . Someone served it at a home some of us visited. It tasted a little gamey, so didnt try a second leg. I still remember being embarrassed when one of the guys who came with us say "what did these poor frogs do to you?" to our host.

My agency paid the invoice on the really party I ever tried to eat frog legs. i replaced into on a agency vacation with a co-worker, and he reported we attempt them. I suggested, "Why not," and we did. those particular frog legs were problematic, and they did not style like all hen i have ever had. in accordance with that journey, i do not propose them. i do not understand no matter if those frog legs tried to leap out of the frying pan, yet i does not were shocked in the journey that they did that and walked round some, too. They were that onerous.

They are great!!! Assuming that they have been prepared well of course. They are like a very tender smooth chicken. I am not the kind of person that is picky so I had no problem what so ever digging in. Yummmmmy!

They're good fried with ranch dressing. They taste similar to chicken, but the texture is different.

Delicious in garlic butter with fresh baguette.
They have very light meat, like you said (chicken)
The best come from France though.
