An X-ray was the best test after blood work. It will actually show up on film.

Other answers good. I think there is a patch test for this as well. My sister had it some dormant for of tb or a false pos or something and had to take pills for a while.

the usual routine is skin test, if positive chest xray, if that shows cavitary lesions, then sputum tests. If mycobact in sputum you got it.
