I've never eaten those crackers before. I would if there are no animal ingredients in them.
It would have been a lot more funny if you left the [I don't know how to spell...] part out. Now it's just sad. :( Sad and bad at the same time. Why ? Why did you do that to the joke?

Well it depends what ingredients are in the animal crackers and what type of vegetarian the person is there are 4 types of vegetarians!!

Yes, because they aren't REAL animals nor are they made from any type of animal. People who don't eat worms still eat candy gummi worms, right? This is no different.
