I'm having a housewarming party for about 15 people, early 20's/late teens. I'm planning on having alcohol, food, and music, but need advice on specifically what I should have. Also, what are some fun party games I could play?

Bonus question: is a keg plus other drinks too much for 15 people?

Whoa! You might want to consider a pony keg of beer, which is half a keg. A full keg is way to much for that amount of people, especially since you will be providing other drinks.

You can serve chips and dip, crackers with cheese, mini hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls (bake at 350 til brown). You cut each triangle into slices and wrap each mini dog. Serve with mustard.

As for games, you can play Twister, and Charades (it may sound corny but it is fun).

Now, I am really concerned here. Serving that much alcohol to the age group you're expecting can make you responsible should an accident occur. Please rethink your plan. Make sure there is a designated driver for all people who drive to your house.

If I sound like an old biddy, just pick up the newspaper and on a weekly basis, you'll read that alcohol is involved in senseless deaths because of drunk drivers.

We've had lots of parties for this age group. I make a nacho dip that goes over really good. In a 9x13 glass pan spread a can of refried beans.Top with an 8-oz. carton of sour cream mixed with a pkg. of taco seasoning. Next spread with a jar of salsa. Top with an 8-oz. bag grated cheddar cheese. Heat in the microwave til hot & bubbly.Serve with tortilla chips.I would go to a big store like Sam's Club and get frozen snacks like popcorn chicken, chicken wings or tender, maybe pizza snacks too if people are drinking. The keg and other drinks will definitely go! Good luck!

How much alcohol is enough depends on the people you are inviting. Some people drink a lot and some don't, so you probably know (because you know them) better than any of us. Have the kinds of alcohol available that your friends like to drink, beer, hard liquor for mixed drinks or straight up, wine, etc. Have plenty of food and non-alcoholic beverages available too, or collect car keys. It's great to have fun, but if someone drives away who shouldn't and causes an accident as a result you can be held responsible. As for games, it also depends on what your friends like. a few decks of cards is never a bad idea, but beyond that do your friends like games like trivial pursuit or games like outburst, for example. Unfortunately there no "perfect formulas" for what to have for any party. Good luck!

Yeah it is fantastically undesirable. I recommend, thats how undesirable issues ensue to sons and daughters. If the mummy is under the impact of alcohol, somebody could desire to actual sneak into the newborn's room and DO something. not that i'm attempting to declare that, despite the fact that that's available ! Thats not a sturdy way of parenting in any respect. its certainly somewhat unhappy. The undesirable newborn probable doesnt even get good sleep. I recommend its effective if its some pals, a pair beverages, yet over the acceptable partying and getting under the impact of alcohol is slightly too lots? I recommend wow. She shouldnt have had a newborn in any respect if she does stupid issues like that. I, in my view dont think of that your incorrect by making use of thinking she's an undesirable mom, your for sure merely an extremely mature mom and be attentive to that that may not a sturdy way of parenting ! If she somewhat had to get under the impact of alcohol, then its extra valuable if she is going OUT, and gets a great babysitter. or take the newborn to the grandparents, aunts, something if she somewhat has to have residing house events. yet no, i dont think of she could be so irresponsible ! Love, jasna simone.

You can never have enough food and drink. 'Beer pong' is a favorite game at house parties. Other drinking games are fun too, like 'flip cup', if you're looking for that sort of thing. Our new favorate drink is vodka and redbull. You should have tequila and Jack Daniels. Jager is a good one too. And if you already have redbull then you can make Jager bombs (oz Jager & oz Redbull). As far as music, just have a collection. Avoid Kenny G., Aaron Nevel, Back Street Boys, Britney Spears, and the like.

Remember: beer before liquour, never sicker; liquour before beer, you're in the clear.

In addition to the keg I would buy a few bottles of white wine. (Beware the red - I'd hate for your new house to have stains on the carpet!!!)

As far as the food goes..........

Make some Rotel dip - 1 block Velveeta mixed with 1 can Rotel.

Have a cheese and summer sausage tray with crackers

And maybe.........a big bag of chicken tenders - serve with honey mustard.

Got cable? Those stations that play just music work well - instant DJ!

**** Be wary of letting underagers drink and drive..........have them crash at your pad so you dont get in trouble if they get pulled over!

Too much booze is never an issue. Too little is. A keg always makes the party seem more authentic.

Games: poker, scrabble, BS, etc.

Just make sure you have good music on and plenty of grub, it should be fun.

Here is a link to a game that is great with a good size crowd. We always play with one dollar bills. It gets loud and is great fun. It is called Left Right Center.
