It makes you relaxed so you may have an easier time breathing while the effects last. However smoking it leaves carcinogens in your lungs which remain much much longer than the relaxaing effects of the THC. It will not cure it, and if you do it too much it will only make it worse because the hot smoke and the carcinogens in it kill cells in your lungs. if you are smoking it anyway use a water bong.

a vaporizor might help but those are expensive, non proven, and distributed to patients with perscriptions.

I know many people that used to have asthma and have told me since they started smoking weed they havent had an attack since. Weed will only affect you in school if you let it. Its sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders already so i know it wont make you lazy or bad in school. After you smoke, do something positive like read or study or something, that way it wont affect your motivation and you wont be just watching tv everytime you get high. And yes marijuana is safer then any medication a doctor can give you.Thats a fact for all you naysayers.

I have read that asthma has been cured, but not for all sufferers.
I think either regular are dro could do the trick

It will not cure it. It will make it easier to breathe. My ex husband used it to help his. But in the long run it will make you sick. And there isn't any difference in reg or dro as you put it. Medically its all the same. Trust me. I also had a friend that had cancer and the main reason for use was to help get the appetite back and to help with nausea

Smoking weed is better for people who have cancer, its more relaxing, makes you hungry, and helps with falling asleep. The only thing that helps with asthma is an inhaler

Well I would state the obivious, but these kind of questions come from a poster child or adult for showing exactly what long term use of marijuana does to a persons mind to even ask a question like that.

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?
