I need to find a good place to hold the party. My apartment is too small, the complexes party room is only available at night and I don't want to have it at Chuck E. Cheese. Are there any places out there that rent rooms for parties that are reasonable priced?

Here's something to remember about parties for very small children: they are more for the adults. Your son will not remember this party at all, so find a venue that the parents can relax and enjoy in, while still having an area for the kids to be kids.

Some of the best "baby" parties I went to were more social for adults with snacks, etc. There was cake and games for the kids, but nothing over the top. A one year old isn't going to truly enjoy anything like Chuck e Cheese, skating rink, etc.

You might want to check with your local parks, community centers, and zoo...the ones in my area rent rooms for a very cheap price and you can bring in your own food and drinks. My local VFW has a $50 room and has a bar available for the adults.

I wouldnt bother paying for a rental. The party is more for you since he wont remember a thing. If the complex party room is available at night, just do it there providing it opens early enough. Just make sure your son is well rested.

You're right. Definitely NOT Chuck E Cheese. Kids get rowdy and for that age group...well, it's just not a good idea. I definitely like the Micky D's idea. Or the yellow pages as someone else said. Just remember the age group!

Where do you live?? McDonald's is a good cheap place your son is so young he might not remember anyways and all kids love McEd's.
Or you could have it at your house and order a small moonwalk or have diff games you could play with the kids. Don't spend too much b/c it gets more expensive as they get older. Keep it simple.

Chuck E Cheeses! You don't have to book the bday package. You can just show up with a bday cake and buy a pizza and give some coins to the kids.
I did this for my sons bday and it was cheap. (100.00 for EVERYTHING). Eveyone had a great time and there was no clean up.

I actual have 2 babies, a while 2 and four. i've got discovered that for the duration of the early years it particularly is extra helpful to maintain component small and secure. Your toddler could be crushed with a great to-do (my 4yo had a party at homestead whilst she grew to become into 2 and then thoroughly melted down--too plenty stimulation). in case you reside in a heat-climate climate (we did), a park could be great in case you have different little ones coming. i in my opinion liked the kinfolk-orientated small birthday whilst the babies have been turning a million.

Check with your local park district. Thy are known to rent out rooms. Ours does. Or try McDonald's. Take a look in your Yellow Pages, you might find something there.

I had my daughters first birthday party at Mcdonalds. They will supply all the ice cream and even the cake if you want them to. The kids can play in the play room, and it was fun for them...

McDonald's, bounce house places, the park
Check your local community centers and/or locations to hold parties, other than at the apt. complex
Have it at a friend's/relative's house or backyard too.
