Actually, I've had a variety of Indian Roti that was like a thin pancake. It was rolled around a sweet filling and was very good!

It is a whole wheat, unleavened flat bread that is fried. Sort of half way between a pita and a tortilla, but whole wheat. It is an Indian bread, served with the main dishes, to sop up all the delicious sauce with... I love it!
Also good are naan and poori!

it is basically the type of "bread" in India...all of the different cultures have different names for it in India, and mostly all of them eat it in their regular diet. It is eaten with a vegetable mix-type gravy and lentils.
