There are so many things people can do to aid their breathing.

One is by the way you walk. You can breathe in as you lift your leg, and out when your foot hits the ground.

Used pursed lip breathing. Ever seen anyone panting after running? They blow their cheeks up with air to expand their lungs. This is gr8 to do at intervals in the day.

Another thing might be to use a bi-pap machine for sleeping. That would only be on a doctor's advice though.

Swimming is always a terrific exercise because your weight is bouyed up by the water, and yet you are really exercising!

Check out breathing tips at a COPD site. 50% breathing is not a bad level actually and will permit most activities.

Don't smoke!!!!!! And don't use any sprays, paints, perfumes, incense or any other chemical that bothers the lungs.

anything that will help that lung to stay strong i knew a guy with one lung and he could sing like nobody else
