the packs are silica and what it would do for you if you ate it is teach you not to eat things that say do not eat this.
all moms and dads are different to be honest some are good parents and some are just plain awfull parents you can imagine what an awfull parent is . if they have failed to keep a promise or two and seem to have some good reason for it and that is all your problem is with them then you should be happy.
to be really honest if an adult ate one small pack of the silica
thing you found in your shoe or pill bottle some times it wont kill you but it is like a sponge inside it is there to keep out moisture
in the shoe or pill bottle or whatever.
its about as good for you as say finding some ground up plastic and eatting that see both no good so dont eat it
i dont know what caused you to feel down as per the heart part
but counting your blessing is trully a good way to start
and be reall about it say hey can i see. hear move my arms and so on and so on and then go out for a walk and imagine what it would be like if you could not do that. maybe while your walking something wonderfull will happen meet a person or just discover how great it is that you have shoes .

Alone, silica gel is non-toxic, non-flammable and chemically unreactive. However, some of the beads may be doped with a moisture indicator, such as cobalt (II) chloride, which is carcinogenic. Cobalt (II) chloride is deep blue when dry (anhydrous) and pink when moist (hydrated). This is the reason most silica gel packets are labeled as dangerous or poisonous when eaten.
Crystalline silica dust can cause silicosis but synthetic amorphous silica, which is what silica gel is, does not cause silicosis. A chemically similar substance with far greater porosity is aerogel.
In 1998 the European Community issued a directive (adapting to technical progress for the 25 time Council Directive 67/548/EEC on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances) which classifies cobalt (II) chloride compounds containing cobalt chloride percentages (w/w) between 0,01 and 1 as an T (toxic) and R49. These products shall be labeled in compliance with the new normative.
Umm... other than that it is a desiccant, so immediate effects would be a dry mouth and throat.not just dry but it could chap (much like your lips) because of the amount of silica gel present in the packets, so I would suggest against doing so. This is of course if it gets out of the packet.

Nothing will happen. You won't die. They say "do not eat" because a lot of times they are packaged with food to keep down the moisture.
You should get used to disappointment while you are young. If you thing parents are bad, boyfriends are worse.

It contains silica. Nothing would happen to you, you would poop out the package before the packing would disintegrate. One of my kids ate one once when chugging down beef jerky. Goes straight through you. If you bite it open and ingest some - you would be fine too. it is a dessicant, it soaks up moisture.

those little bags are full of moisture absorbing beads . I don't think they would kill you but they would not taste very good . They are there to absorb moister so the would probably do the same thing inside your body and maybe plug you up making you very uncomfortable .

You will die. No joke. You will die. Those packets are in there to absorb any moisture that may come in contact with the shoe box. If you eat the packet, you will die. It is poison. DO NOT EAT.
