If it was very easy to tell if someone had diabetes, then there would not be so many people around the world that have had id for some time and not known until they start to get some related condition. If you are tired all the time especially after eating, like you just have to have a lie down a couple of hours after breakfast or some other meal, or if you find you are extra thirsty. If you have any suspisions at all you should get your blood sugar reading done. It's just the finger prick, but what you really need is for the Dr to do some investigating. Maybe you urinate too often or get frequent urinary infections or do not heal real well from a simple wound. There are a lot of things that you would just take for granted but be seen by a doctor as too much other illness and damage can come from having diabetes and not knowing.
