Taco bell is my absolute favorite - The beans DO NOT have animal fat in them, they may have at one point but the do not now (check their website) Everyone's saying bean burritos, but screw bean burritos dude, Taco Bell can make anything you ask them to. Just choose something that looks good and tell 'em to replace the meat with beans or rice. Some of my favorites are Crunch wrap supreme - sub beans for beaf, Baja Gordita - Sub rice for meat, and the 7 Layer Burrito is vegetarian as it comes.

And all these people suggesting salads w/o the meat must never have tried to order such a thing, as Mcdonalds, Wendy's, Burger King and pretty much everyplace with a drivethrough window gets their salads prepackaged and cannot make them without the meat. Taco bell is an exception.

Subway is pretty good, you can get their veggie patty, or just a sub with only veggies. Subway is also kind of like Taco Bell in that you can ask them to do anything that you want. I like to get it with the grilled peppers and onions that come on some other meaty sub, and if they keep the marina sauce for the meatball sub in a separate container than the meat balls (Some do, some don't) I get that too, and have the whole thing grilled.

Burger King has a veggie burger, It's pretty okay.

Skip McDonalds - their oil contains animal products so nothing from there is truely vegetarian. ( I mean like, the fries. And onion rings if they have them? I guess the fruit and yougurt things are. But I wouldn't describe them as a decent meal.)

Burger King has a veggie burger (Morning Star). Get it without the mayo and it's a very healthy lunch. Sometimes if I'm really hungry, I'll order two and use only 1 of the buns, adding the burger, lettuce, and tomatoe to make one big sandwhich.

If you have a Baja Fresh near you there are lots of vegetarian food. Baja Fresh is a new restaurant that's popping up around. It's like a very healthy Taco Bell. It's not as fast as Taco Bell because they make things fresh, but you won't wait longer than 10 minutes, even if they're crowded.

There is no such thing as a decent meal from a fast food restaurant!! Fast food is disgusting no matter what it is. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years now and have always avoided these places. Fast food cannot provide you with the nutrients your body needs even if they're vegetables only. All their fruits and vegetables come from big companys that genetically modify them. Not only that but full of pesticides.

I'm not vegetarian, but I do like some vegetarian items. My favourite place to get a veggie burger is at A&W. If you have a Swiss Chalet where you are, they have a pretty decent veggie burger, as well.

Since there aren't really any 'decent' meals at a fast food restaurant, unless you simply go for the salad, those would probably be my top two choices.

If I am not mistaken, re fried beans, like the ones in the Bean Burritos at Taco Bell, have animal fat in them, so steer clear unless you find a Mexican joint that also serves Black Beans like Tequila Flats or Moes, and there you have lots of Veggie choices, Subway, Quiznos, Blimpie subs all have healthy sandwiches and salads, And yes, Wendy's has a decent Baked Potato with Broccoli and Cheese, plus you can add a salad there too. Look for Salad Bars, too . Any Deli- type place can make you up a veggie sandwich, even the grocery stores make sandwiches in most Deli Departments that are inexpensive and will make them anyway you would like.

Subway (Veggie Maxx or Veggie Delite) or Quiznos....

7 layer burrito from Taco Bell (minus cheese and sour cream if you're into that).

And Burger King has a veggie burger (Morningstar Farms) vegetarian... but not Vegan.

Salads are always an option...

I always stop at a taco shop we have around here... they make potato taquitos (rolled tacos) and they are fantastic!

Sometimes you just gotta stop and ask... vs relying on the major fast food places. It takes what, a whole 7-8 minutes longer than a drive thru?

well if u go to taco bell, i know that you can get mostly everything and just ask them to substitute beans for the meat

if u r a really strict vegetarian that cannot eat any eggs, potato, onion, garlic etc.
then u can't really get much at a fast food restaurant...atleast not a decent meal

Burger King has Morningstar Farms Veggie Burgers (at least in my area). Most fast food restaurants will "hold the meat" if you just want veggies on a bun. Kinda boring, but hey. I also like (for breakfast) McD's egg mcmuffins, without ham. Yum.

Taco Bell's 7 layer burrito is nummy and meat-free (I ate it long before becoming veggie as I always hated their "meat" - if you can call it that, lol). Taco TIME has an AWESOME "natural veggie soft taco"... it's got ranch and sunflower seeds and MMMMMM. It's REALLY good.

That's about it. I usually get soup or salad at my local coffee stand. They have really good veggie sandwiches for pretty cheap. :) You might check at local deli's or coffee shops... oh... and Quizo's veggie sub is good... but they still charge "meat" price for it, which kinda blows. :)

Subway. Some stores have a garden pattie, otherwise veggies and cheese. Also, Quiznos makes a veggie sandwich. Burger King has a BK Veggie burger.

Subway - veggie - sweet onion sauce on wheat - yum.
Blimpies (same as above)
At taco places I order taco and ask them to substitute beans for beef
I'm not a big fan of the burger king veggie burger.
Baked potato at Wendy

...There is something anywhere.
