yes it probably is to soon to test for HIV. maybe to ease both your minds you should go with this girl. that way if one of you tests postive for something the other knows they need to keep getting checked untill it shows up. she could be worried about you as well you know. so i'd say get tested take her along too.

I was foster parent to a couple of HIV+ kids, and we were tested before we got the kids, 1 month after and 6 months after. I was bitten by one of the kids, and he drew blood. I was tested immediately, and after one month and after 6 months... get tested now, and re-test in 6 months and then retest every 6 months after... just for your own peace of mind.
I will tell you, however, that the chance of a female giving the virus to a male is only about 35%, and that chance drops to 14% if you use a condom that doesn't break.

I was violated and they immediately did an HIV as well as all other STD checks. They recommended to be tested for HIV then, then 2 weeks later, and then 6 months later. I am sure your doctor will tell you the same.

sure and no. A condom breaking won't itself reason AIDS / HIV. even though, while you're having intercourse with a guy or woman who's HIV beneficial, or who has the AIDS virus, and the condom breaks, there is an hazard which you will grow to be contaminated. it truthfully relies upon on the place the breakage in the condom is, and how lots physique fluid an infection there is. desire this enables.

Most people develop detectable HIV antibodies within 6 to 12 weeks of infection. In very rare cases, it can take up to 6 months. It is exceedingly rare for someone to take longer than 6 months to develop antibodies.
