1-2 tablespoon honey

Rice Milk Recipe
Rice Milk
Ingredients (use vegan versions): 4 cups hot/warm water 1 cup cooked rice (I've used white or brown) 1 tsp vanilla Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Let the milk set for about 30 minutes, then without shaking pour the milk into another container ( i use an old honey jar) leaving most of the sediment in the first container. This makes about 4 - 4 1/2 cups.

Notes: When I have used cold water and the rice was taken out of the refrigerator, it just doesn't come out that well. I don't know why but its best to use warm water and warm rice (you can nuke it if its leftovers but freshly made is best) I have even let it set longer than 30 minutes (overnight) without it making a difference.

There are obviously a lot of alcoholic beverages that you can make with your blender which I'm sure a lot of people will give you their recipes to.. but I've got a simple non alcoholic drink that i just adore... get some vanilla frozen yogurt, strawberries (frozen would be fine too since they're currently out of season) and some apple juice. Use as many strawberries as you desire and as much juice as you need to make it as thick or thin as you prefer. There's no real measurement to it - these three things just taste great together. I hope you like!

If you are of legal age to consume alcohol, Margaritas are nice.

The ratios are more personal taste and art rather than science, but it goes something like:

2 Parts Tequila
2 Parts Triple Sec
3 Parts Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice
Ice

Blend until the ice is chopped into nice fine particles.

Salt the rim of a nice Margarita glass, fill, add a wedge of lime on the rim, and enjoy!

Put in some seedless watermelon and some ice and blend it together. Yummy for hot weather and you can add just about any clear spirits to it that you like, vodka, bacardi etc.....
