Or what do you eat on your lunch break? I find it hard to eat lunch being vegeterian besides eating a cheesy bean and rice burrito from taco bell I can't think of anything to eat for lunch when I'm out.

Burger King has veggie burgers. Qdoba has a great selection of veggie-friendly fare (and their tortilla soup is vegetarian!).

I would bring my lunch most of the time in that case. That burrito is not so healthy and actually most likely not even vegetarian at all (how beans are prepared and the cheese probably has animal rennet). It also has trans fats and saturated fats.

Regardless of that, I would make some things you can bring like:
1.pasta salad with chopped roasted peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers etc.
2. Salad wrap- all your favorite salad ingredients rolled into a wrap
3. Lettuce, tomato and veg. friendly cheese on whole wheat
4. Cold sesame noodles
5. Egg Salad (if you eat eggs)
6. BLT using smart bacon brand vegetarian bacon

Harveys, Licks and Burger King all have a great veggie burger
Taco Bell - the 7 layer burrito is the best

I don't go to McDonalds anymore as they don't have a good veggie selection. Neither does Wendys (which is unfortunate)- I usually order the Taco Salad minus the chilli.

Takeaways first, bless them!!
Vegetable Rogan Josh, peas pilaw rice, garlic naan bread!! My favourite. I don't go to McDonald's 'cos they are awful, I sometimes get pizza Margarita or alfunghi with veggie cheese or chips (fries) cooked in vegetable oil, with a cheese savoury and mushy peas (totally English grease fest, It is against the law in the UK to not eat it covered in vinegar with cheap white bread and sunflower marg. and a strong cup of tea with milk !!!!)
*****Additional!!
Ok can I make it clear that I don't eat takeaways often. We have them on a Friday near pay day as a real treat!!.
Why did I get a thumbs down for being British? Who ever did that should be ashamed!!! Also it is double racist because you can't tell me that in 2006 Indian food isn't known and loved the World over!!! That sucks if I didn't know about the American delicacies spoken about here I'd look them up!

At lunch break I usually take soup, salad or quorn and stuffing/hummus in pita breads.) I sometimes make a cold couscous dish to take in.

If there's a pita stand around your work place, that might be a good bet. They usually carry falafel and some other vegetarian selections. Although it was already mentioned, Indian restaurants are a good bet. They often have cheap lunch buffets.

Next lunch break try an Indian restaurant
Those places are veggie crazy.
Just tell them absolutely no meat
You can have it hot or not.
I love it if I'm really hungry
It's better than a pile of bread or grease.
