There is not a cure for herpes at this time, but there is a very good treatment out for those infected with the herpes virus. VALTREX has been shown to greatly reduce the frequency and intensity of outbreaks and is not a medication that you have to be on for life. They are showing some promise with a vaccine for herpes, but they do not have it yet.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about three years back, whilst I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/cAB3k everything got better.
Not only was I able to remove all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

No, at this point there is not. I wish they would find one! (I have HSV-2). There is medicines to help with the outbreaks though, (Valtrex) that you only take when you have the outbreaks...not daily!
Good Luck!
