yes honey thats fine... if thats normal for you.. im female and 21 and mine is like 98/59 some of us just run a lil lower than others.. nothing to worry about... my mom is 52 and hers is really low too... just make sure especially as u get older when u go to the dr if your blood pressure is alot higher than that.. but still considered in the normal range.... tell your dr that your normal is 109/61...

nothing to worry about!

Yes, you are running a little bit low, and yes everybody is different, however you would be considered moderately hypotensive, and if you were ever in a car accident and an EMT was taking your BP and got that, it would be a cause for concern.

One thing to check for would be the accuracy of the reading. Do you take any medications? did you have enough water that day? There are a number of things that could cause a low or even inaccurate blood pressure reading. (I once knew somebody that got 110/110 because the were using a poorly designed machine)

You should definately ask your doctor and make sure everything is okay, because your body should always be in equilibrium, and if it isn't, then that could indicate a problem, even though I'd put my money on you being healthy, it never hurts to play it safe

the bottom number is your diastolic reading which is more important than the systolic (top number). A good bp is 120/80. You need to check it more than once to get an average. If its like that at least three times then i would see your doctor. Its borderline the 91, and can cause problems. Remember though simple changes in your diet and exercise can bring it down and reduce your risks of heart disease and stroke significantly. There are meds for hypertension that help but best advise would be to get it down closer to normal by changing your diet and exercise routine. Basically the higher the diastolic number is the harder your heart has to work and anything over 90 is considered hypertension. Remember though you need an AVERAGE not just one reading. You can buy a bp machine at the pharmacy they cost bout 40 bucks they are not as accurate though but will give you an idea. What did your MD say? Make sure you are communicating with him/her

thats a little lower than average but everyone is different. You have nothing to worry about unless your doctor specifically said something when he took your blood pressure.

You don't sound like you need to do anything but it is never too early to make sure you get exercise and eat the right foods.

hiya, your blood pressure is within the normal range, if however you feel dizzy or light headed this could be an indication that it might be too low for you. If this is the case you could see your gp. If you dont have any symptoms you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I hope this helps x

It's lower than normal, but that's not unhealthy. My own blood pressure has always been on the low side.

That is a good blood pressure! If it goes down past 90/50 that is a problem and your heart rate is completley normal. If you want to know the truth my heartrate is 190 and i am the same age as you! I see a cardiologist and everything. I hope this helps!
