ANY sexuality can result in HIV/AIDS. The idea that it can only result from homosexual activity is a huge myth perpetuated by the fact that there was a large surge in cases in the homosexual community in the 90's. However, it is much more common now in the Heterosexual atmosphere than homosexual.
You can also contract HIV/AIDS through needle sharing (Primarily seen with drug usage), Blood transfusion (Though extremely rare now), and several other ways where there is bodily fluids transferred from an infected person to someone else. While HIV/AIDS is most frequently seen as an STD, it is contracted in other ways as well.

Well... any sexual life can result in aids, if not approached carefully. But I think one of the partners must have the HIV to infect the other.
Generally, the point with homosexuality and aids includes
- homosexual relationships used to tend to the random. That is, random partners, sometimes unknown, so you didn't know if the person you're with is seropositive or not.
- with male homosexuality... ok, the act is in the rectum. the rectum is not as ellastic as the vagina is, so eventually there were places that were rubbed raw, which made easier infection. Not that vaginal sex is all that safe... if unprotected. But people tend to have unprotected anal sex more often than unprotected vaginal.
So, homosexuality alone does not result in AIDS. Unprotected sex with a partner of either sex who has AIDS does result in AIDS.

Unprotected sex with anybody can result in AIDS. AIDS is linked to homosexuals because, for whatever reason, men tend to have unprotected sex, so the disease found an easy outlet in the homosexual male population to begin with. But that doesn't mean that only homosexuals can get AIDS, for sure. AIDS doesn't really give a rat's behind about who you sleep with. It's a disease, not freaking Pat Robertson.

BEING a homosexual won´t result in aids AIDS more than being heterosexual.
Being promiscuous and not using safe-sex practices will.
For all of us, ´gay´or not, fidelity is the way to avoid AIDS.
Sex is a way of expressing and sharing love.....not an excuse for a selfish and risky rampage of pleasure.

Sure, and so can any kind of sexual activity with an infected partner and usually when protection is not used.
90% of the AIDS/HIV cases in the world are from heterosexual contact. Don't try to make this a gay disease. Not only is it a bigotted and incorrect belief, but it tends to make straight people have a false sense of safety.
All sex needs to be responsible, and the gender of your partner should matter only to the two of you.

Only having the HIV virus can result in AIDS. Whether you are gay or straight has nothing to do with it. You have to contract the HIV virus to get AIDS as it is just a progression of the disease.

Any unprotected sex can result in AIDS if one of the participants involved already has the disease. This includes but is not exclusive to homosexual encounters.

homosexuality does not result in aids, however having sex with a homosexual who has had lots of sex with other homosexuals and never been safe with their sex practices is very likely to get you into a situation where you might get aids. aids is a disease, a virus, and its transmittable, and you can get it from heterosexual sex too, if anyone you have sex with has had sex with someone infected. so always use condoms. always.
