Can someone who works in this field please tell me if the risks involved in fitting a stent to an existing graft significantly greater than stenting a native coronary artery ? Proximal PDA 60% occluded .

The risks involved are a bit greater in stenting an existing graft but nothing too high to be concerned about. Not enough studies have been done to show the increases risks.

60% Occluded is minimal and stenting that should not be a concern. It has been caught early enough which lowers the risks involved.

In the hospital 1 day out the next. Any other questions you can shoot me an email

Hi, I don't work in the field but believe me I know about stints, I have four in my right coronary, I have had them put in twice, and they do wonders, let the doctor decide what size that you need, thats what he does and quit worrying.
theres risk in everything, but they are a miracle, trust your doctor thats what he's trained to do, God bless them..good luck!!
