Hot Chocolate with marshmallows are always a winner, then u could create a variety cookie tray to serve with the hot chocolate. If you feel you need a little more, just get a variety of the small candy bars and mix them in a bowl. If you prefer cold drinks - mix some punch in a bowl and put in fruit slices this should get their attention. Good Luck and have a great party.

As far as non alcoholic drinks go, I always like "virgin" versions of cocktails. Bacardi makes an excellent frozen cocktail mix, you just add water and ice and you have a delicious virgin rum runner, maragrita etc.
As far as snacks go, some of my favorites for entertaining
A) Toasted pita bread, with a selection of olives, hummus, and labne (a sour yogurt available in Arab or Middle Eastern grocery stores)
B) A selection of antipasti ( Italian bread, cheeses (mozzarella etc.) cold cuts (Capicola, salami, proshooto) Hot peppers.
C)Raw Oysters (If you have the cash)

Call me old-fashioned, but I personally love Chex Mix...homemade pico de gallo (you can find a recipe through google or foodtv.com) and Lime Tortilla Chips (Tostitos brand) are perfect together, and refreshing. Perhaps some gourmet [aztec] hot chocolate or harry potter's "butter beer" (non-alcoholic) are good beverage choices, as well as great conversation-starters. Fondu is a great communal food...traditional cheese fondu with some type of [parmesan peppercorn] baguette is always a hit. Good luck!

If you want to make something together try making caramel apples with different toppings, decorate gingerbread men cookies or cupcakes too. My friend and I hosted a party once where we all decorated caramel apples together and everyone got really into it. We used the caramel wraps that you make soft in the microwave, everyone wrapped their apple and then chose their toppings. We had out bowls of Skittles, mini M&Ms/chocolate chips, nuts, crushed apple Jolly Ranchers, marshmallows etc. etc.

I say POPCORN! You can eat it plain, or add all kinds of stuff to it. Some good things to add are:
1)Garlic salt
2)Parmesan cheese
3)Thyme
4)Cumin
5)Oregano
6)Dry taco seasoning mix
7)Dry ranch-style seasoning mix
8)Lemon pepper
9)Italian herbs: oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, and crushed rosemary.
10)French herbs: marjoram, thyme, summer savory, basil, rosemary, sage, and fennel
11)Cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg
Besides, everyone loves popcorn!
