I have herpies and have had crabs in the past. I am ashamed of both.

Yes, I have genital herpes. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. When I found out I started to cry on the spot. My dr. said that it is normal to feel ashamed. The thing is he said that all this means is that I had sex. It is amazing how many people have it. It is even more amazing how many people have it and dont know it. That is why it is spread so easily. Although that is scary, it made me feel better about it. You can get crabs from a toilet seat and herpes and crabs even if protection is used. People think that it cant happen to them but it can and it probably is happening to them they just dont know. Dont be ashamed. Be proud of who you are. An STD doesnt define who you are.
