STD means sexually transmitted diseases, there r many types of them most known and widly spread is AIDS, others like siphilis, gonorhia are also STD's , aids cant be cured though others like siphilies can b cured to some extent, doctors advice women patients with STD's not to concieve as it may harm their child also, these diseases mainly transmit through sexual intercourse
