It's called hyperhydrosis. The dermatologist can give you an aluminum solution to put on your hands (and feet if they sweat a lot, too) but it is very drying (that is the point, after all). There is also a surgery they can do, but it is near your optic nerve and can cause blindness so they generally don't do it.
The good news is that often people grow out of it, but the bad news is that it takes time (usually years).
Good luck!

I watched a program on BBC TV the other night and a machine,
that has just been developed, and is used in hospitals
over here,to cure sweaty palms.
It is about the size of a DVD player and the hand are placed
one at time on the machine, electricity is passed through your hand, and after ten minuets no more sweating.
England
Wish i could get one for Dori m,high fives would be OK then

There are surgical procedures that can help.
See a doctor. If after following all other advice you still have the problem then, surgery is the final solution, I think the gland that is operated on is not in your palm, it is in the arm pit.
They will do the procedure only, if it is so excessive that normal drying with handkerchief does not help.

You also need to get a check up by your doctor. Hyperhidrosis can also be a symptom of more serious conditions. Let a doctor tell you that it is simply hyperhidrosis.
