When i can hear my heart in my ears it doesn't sound the way it should to me .Im not a doctor thats pretty obvious but when i lay on my left side it sounds sometimes like the beat isnt just right or maybe there is an extra sound.I have been to two different doctors says there doen't seem to be a problem but ,something just doesn't feel just right. When im really tired my heart seems to beat hard not fast like its on it s last beat...Am I imagining it or could there be a proble?

Purchase a BP monitor & check your BP daily morning.

it's called heart palpitations. go to your doctor and ask for a referral to a cardiologist so you can get a heart monitor. (you have to go to a cardiologist to get one.) they're pretty nifty little things... there are two kinds out there - the most common one has those little sticker things like when you get an ECG, the cardiologist will show you where to put them. i'm not sure how this one works because i had the other one, but from what i understood, you wear it all the time even in the shower!
the kind i got was different though it was about the size of a cell phone and when i felt the palpitations i'd put it against my breastbone and hit a button, and hold it there for 30 seconds or so until it beeped. it's pretty much a portable ECG, and it's the best way to handle this kind of thing because you could go to the doctor a hundred times and never feel anything while you were there so the doctor could even know what you were talking about.
good luck

every so often, my heart would start to beat quicker than usual. when you go to see a doctor and it isn't happening, even though you tell him about it, there is nothing they can do. one day i was at my doctor during the time my heart was beating quicker than usual. i was there for a different reason. the next thing that happened was the nurse came in with the EKG machine and did a test. the doctor came back in and told me i had a heart problem. i needed to go to the hospital right away. he told me he would call an ambulance for me. i lived not far away and i got to the hospital right away. i was put on heart medication and have not had any more trouble with it. it has been my experience, also, that nobody noticed anything. Perhaps that's because this problem is still in the early stages. go ahead and get this taken care of, though.

M&M Oh! Boy, You sound like your a little hypochondriac, hang in there but, if you've seen your doctor and he's said you have nothing wrong why don't you take his word for it?
Ask for a referal to see a cardiologist, he'll give you all the poop. I did but, I've got more experience than most doctors, when I feel there's something amiss, there usually is.
My cardiologist listened for about twenty seconds and found a bad aortic valve and I needed bypass surgery. Believe this or not, my doctor was missing it for years, I've since changed doctors.

if you are trully concerned have your doctor run some rutine heart tests. Like stress test exc. some heart problems are hard to diagnose before the problem really flares up, trust you instincts and get it checked in to right away.

You know your body. If you feel like something's wrong, you can get a doctor to run tests. There's more to early detection than anyone thinks and you don't want this to get REAL serious if you have a chance to nip it in the bud.
