I was wondering if that might be a sign of oral herpes. I get the sore that also look like blister all over my tounge. I get them under my tounge , tip of my tounge and recently got a big blister on the inside of my gums(that was not visible). I looked online for these syptoms but cant seem to find anything but herpes...can someone help me out with this one?? Can they be caused by stress or malnutrition??

These could be cold sores in your mouth. Also could be a virus in your body thats releasing these cold sore like things in your mouth. You never said anything about being "involved" so more than likely, you need to brush your teeth, tongue, use, floss and gargle with salt water. This will kill any infection in your mouth.

I get these occasionally, just one at a time though? On the end of my tongue..

They seem to happen when I have had alot of sugar (ie sugar dipped candies.. LOTS!).

They seem to go away after a few days.. Listerine seems to help numb it so it doesnt hurt so much.

Mention it to your family doctor, its probably an irritation or at worst a bacteria that got the better of you.

Go see a good doctor. No need to worry about something that may be nothing. You need to get it checked anyway, just to be sure and to satisfy you mind.

Good luck. Pops
