no, actually the chemicals in the diet soda will make you gain weight- no joke- regular soda is actually better for you than diet- but if you really want to loose weight- water not soda will help you loose pounds fast- I hear people all the time say I can;t give up my soda- well then don't, just stay heavy- the choice is yours and yours alone- but if you are serious- give up the crap in a can- it takes the paint off a car -for the love of all that is human- stop drinking paint remover!!!!!!

To everyones disbelief the answer is no. Most people think that it will because diet sodas have no calories. In some studies that were done, it was noted that people who drank diet soda were more likely to gain weight because of the other additives and sugar substitutes. The misbelief due to no calories caused people to eat other items that had more because they were thinking they already saved by drinking 0 calories.

? Well it will help more then non-diet but soda is very bad for you. I would suggest drinking water instead of soda, that will help you loose weight & stay healthy. It does a wonderful job of cleaning out your system.

Maybe.

If you were going to drink regular soda anyway, then drinking diet instead of regular avoids the calories that the regular soda would have contained (about 150 for a typical can). If you normally drink a lot of soda, then this can add up quickly.

Actually, yes it can. Especially if you cosume a large quantity of regular soda daily. The heavy sugar content of traditional soda is a good way to load up calories during the day without realizing it. While it lacks nutrients, it is definitely a more healthy way to drink than many types of sugary juice, sport drinks, or energy drinks.

While studies have shown that the "super sweet" nature of sweeteners can have people craving real sugar, that's really for you to decide if you can handle it.

Additionally, the caffeine in soda, while unhealthy in large doses, can actually help you burn calories during the day due to its ability to raise the heart rate.

People are turned off by diet soda because they think it's "all chemicals" and unnatural, but consuming moderate amounts of aspartame has not been shown to cause any illness or damage.

it's a process if youre a regular soda drinker, you won't consume those calories that the regular soda had. although theres alot of fake crap inside diet soda and those chemicals will one day kill us so you should probably stick to water. moderate your soda intake no matter what you decide, diet or regular

No, even diet soda will keep your body craving "sweet". Switch to water. It's easier than you think and so much better for losing weight.

No it's just better than regular soda. Just skip soda all together. Go for alternatives like sparkling water(if that's what it's called, fizzy water) and get those little flavor packets that crystal light sells and you have your own homemade soda.

No because it still has sugar in it. And if you are looking to lose weight, you want to cut out sugar as much as possible.

If you really want to lose weight, drink plenty of water. The more water you drink the better, it helps to cleanse your system. The more you pee the more weight you lose. When you lose body fat, it is disposed when you pee. That is how you lose weight. And plus water is the best for you anyways. Diet drinks also have acids in it that can really harm your dental and insides.
