I went to the doctor and I have inflammation in my lungs. I was given steroids to reduce the inflammation, but is there anything I can do to help releave the tightness and pain in my chest?

A precription for a nebulizer or puffer might help. However, if you don't have one of those there is really nothing that may releive the tightness. The steroid need time to work.

I have a nebulizer and use sulfate and bromide every four hours, when it's bad I even double the dosage.

It sounds like your going to a doctor, why hasn't he ordered this already?
