I am currently taking these meds for high blood pressure. the beta blocker Toprol XL was just added 2 days ago. I would appreciate the advice.

You shouldn't mix alcohol with any medication

I wouldn't mess with anything till you know how you will react to the medication. Although if you are thinking of maybe a glass of wine once in a while you should be fine, but I would ask my doctor to make sure.

I use toprol XL and I drink ( one or two drinks socially)Still alive do.

Most medications you can't drink alcohol with.

no you should not take anykind of medication with alcohol this action could end up deadly
