Is there something to help with this until I can get to the doctor. I think I may have asthma. Its worse some days then others. Today is really bad. I feel like there is something really heavy sitting on my chest. Its hard to inhale. I feel like I can't get enough air. I have to work to breath. What could this be? Asthma or what? What can I do for this until I see the doctor?

It may be very viable you do have bronchial asthma. A Dr’s appointment is a have to. An antihistamine comparable to Benadryl would be of so much importance (because it would be an allergic reaction). To aid get you by way of till your appointment I might advise consuming water whilst having problems with breathing in and/or exhaling. Sit upright, and check out to not panic. If it will get to the factor in which you’re feeling particularly dizzy or feeling like you're getting too exhausted to keep to respire, that is whilst it turns into a significant challenge. Do no longer hesitate to name an ambulance. If this can be a real bronchial asthma assault you want on the spot scientific concentration. There are a few OTC inhalers however wouldn’t be encouraged till assembly together with your Dr. – I am no longer a general practitioner.

Don't wait to get a doctor appointment, go to the emergency room NOW. If you can't drive or are too weak then call 911. If you are having difficulty breathing this is a medical emergency. Asthma is not something to mess with, people die from it everyday.

A little menthol like Vicks or any sort of mentholated cold product will improve your breathing. It opens up the airways.

Put a tiny bit of Vicks in your nose and it will help almost immediately.
