An ulcer is just a type of 'sore'. They can develop on/in any part of your body. The "classic" example (of course) are stomach ulcers typically caused by the H.Pylori organism.

I think a ulser is any kind of bleeding on the inside of your body. So I think its possible but they probably would call it a rupture.
