Thanks
I was really upset the other day and when I started crying, my nose started bleeding and it was really bd. I had huge blood clots and could not contain it...it was coming out of my mouth and everything.
I see the doc tomorrow

The most recent US guidelines are below 115/75, but your blood pressure numbers aren't bad. Talk with your doctor and see what she suggests. You don't need blood pressure medications, but you might want to avoid salt and salty foods.

There's nothing unusual about slight differences between blood pressure in each arm. Since your heart is on your left side, your blood pressure may be higher on your left side. To get consistent results, always use the same arm, preferably the left one.

An occasional nosebleed is probably not a big deal, and it might just be related to dry indoor air. If you get more nosebleeds, talk with your doctor.

Your blood pressure is fine. There is always normal fluctuations during the day and between each arm. The bp norms we were given in nursing school were between 100-139 on the systolic and 60-90 on the bottom number. 90-100 was ok but bore watching. Latelyl, the Heart Association has changed the parameters on us. Either way, your bp is normal. The problem may be in your clotting factors and/or possible irritations to the nasal passages or sinuses. You are doing the right thing seeing the doctor. Are you taking aspirin or any other OTC medication?

your blood pressure is good, need to check it every day to find the average, there are many causes of nosebleeds, not just blood pressure.

Your BP is just fine. It will always be different in each arm.
